23rd October 2010 I have added some more confirmed Christmas Fairs to my list of Events
The big ones are the Celtic Winter Fayre and Erddig Christmas Markets.
A few more to add later when they are confirmed.
22nd September 2010 Have a few orders on the go, but been a bit quiet on the events front.  I have booked a few Christmas Fairs though.
20th August 2010 Denbigh and Flint County Show was relatively quiet in the Shopping Arcade marquee.  Still I enjoyed the day.  The rain held off till late afternoon.  Getting off the field took forever though :-(
9th June 2010 Finally managed to get pictures of the Decopatch papers on-line.
7th June 2010 Arranged another event at last.
Craft Marquee at The Caerwys Show on Saturday :
Selling decorated items, and Decopatch paper / blanks,
  Giving Decopatch demonstrations
  Running hands-on sessions.
21st May 2010 Further to my house move my ISP wasn't able to supply me with Broadband until today !  It's been very strange to not be able to go on-line.  We are still surrounded by packing boxes at home, but can see the light at the end of the tunnel :-)
7th May 2010 My broadband is going to be down for a couple of days when I move house on Monday, so if you need to contact me please use my mobile, or if you email I should be able to read it by Thursday 13th May. Thanks.
30th April 2010 Unfortunately had to cancel my first craft fair, as imminent house move is proving more time consuming and problematic than anticipated.  Hopefully will have more time when settled to arrange more events, as itching to get out there.
22nd April 2010 Next Workshop date is 8th May in Llangollen.

Booked my first Fair of the year, at last!  I am going to the Craft and Art Fair in New Brighton on May 1st - bank holiday Saturday, where I will have my products for sale, and I will also be demonstrating Decopatch.

30th March 2010 The last workshop in Bryneglws went well.  Some more lovely items created.  We will be back to do another one there in the near future.  Hopefully photos coming soon courtesy of Vicky ;-)

Looking forward to the next Decopatch workshop in Llangollen on the 10th April.

19th March 2010 New workshop date added.
15th March 2010 We now have the Decopatch paper and some blanks for sale in Tina and Chris's shop - Siop Hodge Podge in Glyndyfrdwy.

The shop is in the centre of the village on the A5 between Llangollen and Corwen in Denbighshire, North Wales, LL21 9HB
14th March 2010 The Decopatch Workshop in Glyndyfrdwy at the weekend was great - everyone seemed to enjoy it and went away with some lovely examples of Decopatched items.  I wonder if anyone is going to be as hooked on "patchin" as I am ;-)
26th February 2010 2 New Workshop dates finalised.  This is an exciting phase of the business, running courses with fellow "patcher" Tina.  Getting me enthused about the challenges in the year ahead.
25th February 2010 Look out for materials to try Decopatch yourself. They are currently available at workshops, and soon at Siop Hodge Podge and on the website.  It's part of the new business phase I am starting with my friend Tina.
9th February 2010 Slow start to 2010 - no events booked yet - not sure of plans at the moment.  Will keep you posted.
3rd January 2010 I wish you a Happy and Healthy 2010.
26th December 2009 Hope everyone is having a lovely Christmas time.  I know I am :-)

I was pleased to see a feature on Decorative Crafts on page 9 of the December edition of

JL Fairs NEWSLETTER

22nd December 2009 I haven't decided on any 2010 events yet, but will post them on my Fairs and Markets page as soon as I plan next year out.
21st December 2009 This weekend at Erddig was bitterly cold, and I thought on Sunday morning that the snow covered lanes would put everyone off, but I was surprised by how many people turned out.
18th December 2009 Last weekend's Christmas Market at Erddig was very busy and enjoyable.  Getting ready for the last event of the year this weekend (is it going to snow at Erddig).
7th December 2009 I have had a very hectic time over the last week, and glad of a rest today.  The weekend was enjoyable with Whitchurch Christmas Fair on Saturday being a fun but very long day, and it was nice to see other fellow crafters again.   Yesterday was not very fruitful without the anticipated attendance at the Reebok Stadium in Bolton, but it was a lot easier with Nick to help with the packing up.  There were over a hundred stalls there, and I met some more lovely crafters.
1st December 2009 Just uploaded a few more products.   Some of the items I have recently made have sold and I forgot to photograph them so you'll never get to see them unfortunately, including some picture frames, candle votives and and candle holders.
29th November 2009 After a very long day on Friday at Denbigh Christmas Market I had a very quiet day at the Llangollen Fair yesterday.  It had been arranged to coincide with Llangollen's Christmas Festival, however the local council changed the date in the last few weeks and you can't just change the date of Craft Fairs at short notice !  I still enjoyed it though :-)
23rd November 2009 Thanks to all the customers who braved the weather at the weekend ! The weather just got worse and worse throughout the week with the worst weather at the weekend, and it definitely affected the attendance figures.  It started off quite sunny but by lunch time it was a lot colder, wetter and windier and I was quite glad to be packing up at 4, although the rain didn't help with that !   Thanks to Nick's help it was all packed and in the van within an hour though.
20th November 2009 Surprisingly the dreadful weather has not put people off attending the Celtic Fayre.  I've had lots of nice chats with visitors, and quite a few have bought some of my products  too ;-)
The forecast isn't any better for the weekend, but my little cabin is thankfully weather-proof and it hasn't been too cold.
17th November 2009 Just packed the van with everything I can think of that I might need for the Celtic Winter Fayre in Llandudno, probably forgotten something though !  As it's a Christmas Fair we have been asked by the organiser to decorate our stalls in a Christmas theme, so I'm taking lots of lights and tinsel :-)  Children may confuse my cabin with Santa's Grotto !!!  Will upload a photo for those of you who can't come along to Llandudno to see for yourselves ...
16th November 2009 Busy getting everything ready for 5 days at the Celtic Winter Fayre in Llandudno starting on Wednesday 18th !  The weather forecast doesn't look too good !  I have booked a cabin which I'm hoping will be a bit more waterproof than a marquee !
16th November 2009 Craft Fair at Theatr Clwyd in Mold was good, although not as busy as everyone would have liked.  It was nice to see everyone from the GCAC again though.
11th November 2009 Really pleased with my brand new products - pendant and Gift Tags.  Just need to make some more now !
11th November 2009 Received my fab new, bright pink banner - just in time to go on my stall / stand / cabin at the imminent Christmas Fairs and Markets.  You won't miss it, or that's the idea anyway :-)
7th November 2009 It was a lovely sunny day in New Brighton yesterday as opposed to gale force winds and rain last month. Not sure if having to pay £2 each to get into the Craft Fair was putting potential customers off though.
7th November 2009 Started Sarah's Decorative Crafts Blog.
